STAND | Office Depot Features Grace
STAND (See Talent Ability Not Disability) by Office Depot chose Grace and GracePlace Art as their first feature! The initiative is on a mission to bring representation, support, and allyship to people with disabilities. They even gave Grace a $500 gift card to help with new art and office supplies! Grace was invited to set up a table in the store for a week, showcasing her artwork and sharing her mission and story. The Office Depot team helped us print signs to rally local community support! They dropped them off around town and hung them all around the store and store parking lot! Thanks to their help Grace had a lot of visitors!
During her meet and greets, Grace hung out and worked on some new ‘Work’ pieces in between visits with people stopping by. We had happy moments, shy moments, silly moments, but mostly, we had proud moments! Thank you so much to Office Depot and their STAND initiative for this wonderful opportunity!
